Senior Façade Architect / Engineer 

Lead High-Profile Building Envelope Projects

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Façade Architect/Engineer (10+ years of experience) to join our growing Building Façade team. This is a senior-level role where you’ll lead complex façade projects, guide teams, and work directly with high-profile clients.

What You’ll Do

As a senior member of our team, you’ll take on a broad scope of leadership and technical responsibilities, including:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and client needs.

• Serving as a trusted client partner, delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term relationships.

• Overseeing a team of engineers, architects and BIM specialists to produce high-quality facade, roofing and below-grade details and specifications.

• Reviewing façade submittals and ensuring alignment with project design intent.

• Producing ComCheck analyses to verify energy code compliance.

• Editing and tailoring façade specifications for project-specific requirements.

• Developing façade and roofing details, while overseeing BIM drafters to ensure high-quality drawing sets.

• Applying knowledge of NYCBC, IBC, and NYC local laws (including Bird-Friendly glazing requirements).

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of professional experience in façade architecture or engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

• Understanding of curtain wall, window wall, punched windows, masonry and rain screen engineering and detailing.

• Basic understanding of Revit.

• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in fast-paced environments.

• A collaborative spirit with the confidence to lead teams and interact directly with clients.
